Every guest who has spent their holiday at Finca Las Naranjas writes to us afterwards about how beautiful the finca was and what a great guy Paco is.

Today we'd like to introduce you to Paco: Paco is 67 years old and a true "Muroanier" (a native of Muro). He was born and raised in the small town of Muro, and now lives in Alcanada, close to the sea. "I need the sea to relax," says Paco. His hobbies are fishing and gazing at the ocean, but he also loves gardening, hiking, traveling, movies, and music.

Las Naranjas – Paco's Love of the Country

Finca Las Naranjas is actually called Can Bosset, but we'll reveal the name later. The finca was inherited from his grandparents to their daughter, Paco's mother. As a child, Paco was always at the finca, as it was managed by his parents. They tended 225 orange trees and grew all sorts of vegetables. About 20 years ago, Paco began renovating the finca, constantly improving it, and renting it out to vacationers to preserve his inheritance. When we first visited Paco many years ago, the finca was still full of orange trees and had been given the name "Las Naranjas." But with age, the work becomes more difficult, and Paco decided to stop tending the orange trees, which were already quite old. Instead, there's now a huge lawn with olive trees. And Paco's knack for gardening is evident in the beautifully maintained garden surrounding the house. Whenever the family has a celebration, it takes place at Finca Las Naranjas. They usually have paella or a barbecue. When Paco's daughters visit Mallorca in winter, they stay at Las Naranjas with their families.

Since 2023, the finca has been shining in new Mediterranean splendor

In June 2022, we spent a few days at Las Naranjas, and Paco asked us for suggestions on renovating the finca. Everything was in very good condition, but here and there, one or two pieces of furniture looked a bit dated. Together with Paco and Manuela, we discussed the new concept, and Manuela, the interior designer, began with her suggestions. The renovation was completed in March 2023, and we think the result is fantastic. But see for yourselves in the before and after pictures.

Your holiday trip to Las Naranjas

Finca Las Naranjas is beautifully situated for a peaceful holiday in the countryside, not far from the long sandy beach and the sea. The house is also ideal for families with children. Everyone always feels completely at ease here. When Paco has time, he personally comes by to greet his guests, and there's usually something delicious waiting for them in the kitchen, or he brings along some local specialties. Paco is a perfect host.
